I highly recommend Jake to anyone looking to buy a home. As a first time homebuyer, i was initially looking to rent, However, after some research and a lack of good residences for rent that provided what I wanted, I decided to look at possibly buying a home and building equity. I tried to contact a number of realtors in the area to get some information but I never really got much more than an initial email and was promptly left in the dark after. Jake was the first to really talk to me, gave me a quick phone call, and explained very easily what types of homes were eligible for loans, my general buying power, and even recommended me a loan officer to get started. He helped me search for homes, gave advice on building equity, and walked me through every step of the process helping me get inspectors and home insurance which I was able to bundle with my car insurance for a good monthly rate. I had many hiccups through the whole process between the previous homeowners and the title company losing my whole title in the mail. Despite all this, Jake helped me through and made sure I was taken care of and that everything was in order. As well I was on a small time schedule to get out of my current residence, and with the sellers making that an issue, he kindly offered to use his own personal storage to help store some of my stuff that was being exposed to the elements outside. Any question I had he promptly answered and was always quick to get things in order. Jake is very professional and comfortable to deal with. Even after the sale closed, Jake continues to help me. After discovering an undisclosed roof leak, I had a hard time getting a roofer to stop the leak, and one again Jake came in big and got someone to come tarp the roof and give me an estimate on replacing/fixing it. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to purchase a home, especially a first time home buyer like myself who doesn’t know exactly where to start or what all the fancy jargon means. I couldn’t ask for a better person to have helped me in a time when I didn’t have much help. 10/10
