I had an absolutely terrible experience from start to finish with Dave Shalabi. While I was a part of a deal that closed on the rental of a townhouse, and when it came to being informed about the purchase and requesting to be taken off of my lease, I was called personally by Dave and yelled at, saying “your ex-husband is giving me a hard time, it’s Ramadan, and you aren’t helping!” Rather than letting me know about any issues he was having and how I could help, Dave acted immaturely by yelling at me, and tried sticking me with extra fees for lackluster reasons. I personally will not be engaging in this business due to my experience in the future, and can guarantee my friends will know the same.

When my husband and I initially brought our home, I also trusted the realtor through Remax , Monica Polland, we used to find me a trustworthy and honest tenant for my home I would be leasing. I assumed an adequate background check was run on John, which I now highly doubt due to his payment history with me in less than a year. I am still seeking evidence of a background check and a decent credit score as I assume this is standard when locating a tenant when using a realty company. All which the realtor advised me he had. Currently, I am now forced to go through an eviction process all because the tenant provided to me was not properly screened. It has now been discovered this man has bad credit and a prior eviction. I would like my finder's fee back from Remax due to the horrible job they did in locating a tenant for me . $2250 finder's fee reimbursed for the stress and headache and soon to be legal fee's I have to pay to get this man out my home.

I am very happy that we choose Ruben Vallejo with Remax of Orland Park to find us our new home. This is the worst real estate office. I have only dealt with one agent but he was a ugly, offensive, spoke down to me, and his staff was no better

Dave is a scam do not use him for a realtor he just wants the money he doesn’t care about the buyer or seller
